Donations of a heifer and embryos have been committed to the October 5 “Black Bonus” Sale. All proceeds of these lots will support the Hawkins fund. Kirk Sterzick, Sterzick Farm, will be donating a January 5, 2013 heifer (Reg. # 17518989), sired by OCC Priority (Reg. # 15269785) and out of FF Miss Erica 907 (Reg. #16389217). Kirk was the lucky winner of FF Miss Erica 907 at the 2009 Michigan Angus Field Day hosted by Bryson Farm and Fitzner Farm, Bellevue. At the fall sale the Fitzner families will donate 3 embryos that are full siblings to FF Miss Erica 907, she is sired by SAV 8180 Traveler 004 and her dam is Mercers EXT 0907, sired by N Bar Emulation EXT.
