A highlight of the centennial year will be a trip to Wooster, Ohio to tour the Certified Angus Beef headquarters and learn more about this outstanding certified beef program.
The trip will be held on Thursday and Friday, October 2 and 3. Michigan Angus Association members and others interested in cattle production and meat merchandising are invited to this educational two-day trip via chartered bus.

Thursday, October 2:
12 Noon Pick-up participants in the Lansing area (location TBD)
12:45 p.m. Pick up participants in the Jackson area (location TBD)
1:45 p.m. Pick up participants in the Ann Arbor area (location TBD)
5:30 p.m. Dinner as a group at a restaurant in Wooster, or perhaps in Amish Country
7:30 p.m. Check-in at Hampton Inn in Wooster, Ohio (across the street from CAB HQ)
Friday, October 3:
7:30 a.m. Continental Breakfast at the hotel
8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Program and tour of Certified Angus Beef Headquarters Learn CAB history, branding, marketing, and a breeder’s connection to CAB Lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided by CAB
3:30 p.m. Depart CAB and stop for dinner along the way back to Michigan
7:30 p.m. Return to Ann Arbor area
8:15 p.m. Return to Jackson area
9:00 p.m. Return to Lansing area
Travel Info:
Michigan Angus Association will sponsor the bus transportation. Bus pick-up and drop-off locations will be in the Lansing, Jackson and Ann Arbor areas.
Participants will be responsible for dinners on Thursday and Friday evenings. Hotel rooms will cost approx. $114 per room for single king and double queen rooms. The association will handle the hotel reservations for all participants. (do not make reservations directly).
