The field day is open to anyone interested in learning more about Angus cattle and promises to be a great opportunity to connect with cattle producers from Michigan and other states. Lutchka Angus was established in 1955 and has been recognized with the Historic Herd Award by the American Angus Association. Their roadside farm market was added to their cattle operation in 1997. Lutchka Angus is truly a family operation and both Dave and Joan have been very involved in their community as well as in the Michigan Angus Association and the Michigan Angus Auxiliary. Their three children, Lisa, David and Derek were involved in junior programs and the farm and their grandchildren also enjoy livestock and helping at the farm. Lutchka Angus has been a longtime supporter of youth programs and has helped many youth and adults get started in the Angus business. Dave, Joan and their family will serve as great hosts for this outstanding program.
