The 2013-2014 MCA/MSU Bull Test Program has officially begun. Bulls were delivered to the test facility on October 11-12 at Plank Farms, Crystal Michigan. During the last 2 weeks, the bulls have settled in and completed their “warm-up” period. On October 24 & 25 all the bulls were weighed and their official beginning weight recorded.
“There is a strong set of bulls for the evaluation and we are at the station capacity with 108.” say Dr. Daniel Buskirk, Evaluation Coordinator. There are 60 Angus, 26 Simmental, 13 SimmAngus, 5 Red Angus, 2 Polled Hereford, and 2 Charolais on test.
