Six head of Angus cattle were exhibited at the 2021 Michigan Junior Angus Preview Show, held during the Eaton Elite Show in Charlotte, MI. Grand Champion Female in the Jr. Show was Hedrick Heritage Marge 919, a December 2019 daughter of Deer Valley Growth Fund exhibited by Mary Hedrick from Olivet. Mary’s heifer was also the Champion Bred and Owned Angus Heifer. The Reserve Champion Female in the Jr. Show was PVF Missie 0250, a March 2020 daughter of PVF The Natural 7042 exhibited by Blake Pillars from Martin.

The Champion Angus Steer, Clay Knoll King 001, was shown by Blake Pillars from Martin. His January 2020 steer was sired by PVF Surveillance 4129. The Reserve Champion Steer was RG3 Ace 023, exhibited by Justin Stoll from Grand Ledge. The March 2020 steer was sired by PVF Blacklist 7077.

The showmanship classes were sponsored by the Michigan Angus Auxiliary. Champion Junior Showmanship winner was Dylan Stoll from Grand Ledge. Blake Pillars from Martin was named the Intermediate Showmanship winner, while Anika Stehlik from St. Johns was the Champion Senior Showman.

The 2020 Michigan Jr. Angus Association Premier Exhibitor and Premier Breeder awards were also presented during the Preview Show. The 1st place Premier Exhibitor was Landon Marvel from Fowler, 2nd place was Anika Stehlik from St Johns, 3rd place Premier Exhibitor was Blake Pillars from Martin, and the 4th place Premier Exhibitor and the 1st place Premier Breeder was Justin Stoll from Grand Ledge.


The 2020 Outstanding Junior award was presented to Justin Stoll from Grand Ledge, and the 2020 Michigan Jr. Angus Association Outstanding Senior award went to Blake Pillars from Martin.

The 2020 Michigan Jr. Angus Association Outstanding Members were announced at the 2021 Michigan Jr. Angus Preview Show. Justin Stoll from Grand Ledge was selected as the Outstanding Jr. Member and Blake Pillars from Martin was named Outstanding Sr. Member.

Justin Stoll from Grand Ledge was recognized as the 2020 Michigan Jr. Angus Association Premier Breeder during the 2021 Michigan Jr. Angus Preview Show held at the Eaton Elite in Charlotte.
