In 2021 the Michigan Angus Auxiliary approved a new scholarship to assist more Michigan Junior Angus members with their college education. This year the Michigan Angus Auxiliary is offering up to two 2024 Advanced Education Scholarships to upcoming college, university, technical or trade school sophomores, juniors, or seniors. Up to two $500 scholarships will be awarded, at the discretion of the scholarship committee and judges.

To be considered for this award, applicants must have been members of the Michigan Junior Angus Association (MJAA) and the National Junior Angus Association (NJAA) for at least 3 years; they must have a minimum 2.0 GPA (accumulative) on a 4.0 scale; applicants cannot have reached their 25th birthday prior to January 1 of the year of application; and they can only use the space provided in each section. Junior members can receive this scholarship award no more than two times. If selected to receive a scholarship, winners must show proof of being a college, university, technical or trade school student in your second, third, or fourth year by submitting a schedule and receipt showing payment of fees by September 1st.

The application deadline is June 1, 2024 and late applications will not be accepted.
