MCA/MSU Bull Test Sale Results |
The 2008 MCA Bull Test Sale was held on
March 29th at Plank Farms. Sixty-five bulls
sold for a total of $134,050 to average
$2,062.30. This was the third highest sale
average in the 20 year history of the bull
test sales. A high number of the bulls sold
to repeat buyers from previous sales. Mark
Sears, Horton, Michigan, became the volume
buyer when he purchased 4 bulls.

Bronze and Silver Awards
Patricia Vaassen, Ann Arbor, Mich., left,
received the Bronze and Silver Awards at the
2008 Michigan Angus Association Annual
Meeting & Banquet, March 9 in Jackson, Mich.
The Bronze and Silver Awards are the first
two levels of the National Junior Angus
Association recognition program. Youth must
apply for the awards, based on their junior
Angus activities and leadership involvement.
