Seeking Contestants for 2012 Miss Michigan Angus

The 2012 Miss Michigan Angus will be crowned at the annual meeting in March. The Michigan Angus Auxiliary is seeking queen candidates at this time. Young ladies ages 15 to 21 as of January 1, 2012 are eligible to apply. Contact Michigan Angus Auxiliary President Sharon Vaassen at 734-663-8071 to request more information or an application, which is due February 15.

Scholarships

Each year, Michigan Junior Angus members, who are seniors in high school, are invited to apply for the Michigan Angus Auxiliary Scholarship. The forms and directions are available to download from the American Angus Auxiliary website. Get the application & directions here. A panel of judges will review the applications. One boy's and one girl's application will be forwarded to the American Angus Auxiliary Chair for consideration. The winners of the Michigan Angus Auxiliary Scholarship(s) and the Katy Maxey Memorial Scholarship will be announced at the Preview Show each year.
